"The Association of Polish Journalists also took a critical stance on this matter. Press Club Polska also spoke out, as did the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights. I would like to focus especially on the latter, because here the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights draws attention to a very interesting issue. Namely, state authorities should explain to the public the reasons for the arrest to the extent possible due to the good of the proceedings. In particular, it is necessary to dispel all doubts as to whether the request for temporary arrest was not a pretext for applying repression for criticism formulated by the journalist against the authorities and its organs." "Krytyczne stanowisko w tej sprawie zajęło także Stowarzyszenie Dziennikarzy Polskich. Głos zabrał także Press Klub Polska, a także Biuro Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich. Nad tym ostatnim chciałabym się zwłaszcza pochylić, bo tutaj Biuro Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich zwraca uwagę na bardzo ciekawą kwestię. Otóż organy państwa powinny wyjaśnić opinii publicznej przyczyny aresztowania na tyle, na ile jest to możliwe z uwagi na dobro postępowania. W szczególności konieczne jest rozwijanie wszelkich wątpliwości co do tego, czy wniosek o tymczasowe aresztowanie nie był pretekstem do zastosowania represji za krytykę formułowaną przez dziennikarza względem władzy i jej organów."
