Verdiktum — Right of Reply, Correction & Rectification

Verdiktum operates diligently and in good faith. Persons whose public statements are analysed are given a genuine opportunity to present their position.

1. Who may use it

• a person (or their representative) whose public statement, forecast or prediction is analysed in the Service;
• anyone identifying a specific factual inaccuracy in Content.

2. How to submit

Send a request to contact@verdiktum.com with:

1. the exact URL of the material;
2. the passage concerned;
3. the nature of the request: (a) factual correction, (b) reply/position of the person concerned, (c) rectification of a quote or context;
4. the proposed text of the reply/correction;
5. contact details and, where acting as a representative, proof of authority.

3. How we handle it

• We respond without undue delay, generally within 7–14 days.
• Factual errors are corrected promptly after verification and, for material changes, the item is marked with a dated correction note.
• A reply/position may be published prominently alongside the material or linked, within reasonable length and without belittling commentary.
• We may decline unlawful, abusive, excessively long or irrelevant submissions, stating the reason.

4. Editorial integrity principles

• We separate facts (with sources) from opinion and assessment;
• quotes of living persons are limited to what analysis requires;
• we analyse public activity and statements, not private life;
• on request, we identify the sources underlying an analysis.

5. Removal

In justified cases (e.g. demonstrated unlawfulness) we may remove or amend material. Submitting a request is not a precondition for pursuing legal remedies.
